In February 2024, Calypsus Brass proudly completed a residency at the University of Akron.
During this exciting week, the ensemble performed a recital featuring both contemporary and classical works, including pieces by underrepresented composers. In addition, we led a series of masterclasses and clinics, offering expert guidance on topics such as chamber music performance, audition preparation, and music career development.
We are grateful for the opportunity to engage with the students and faculty at the University of Akron, sharing our passion for new music and supporting the next generation of musicians.
Thank you to everyone who attended and participated in this wonderful experience!
